The full speech by Massimiliano Corsini of Toscotec during the MIAC Tissue Conference, which took place at MIAC 2021 exhibition held every year in October in Lucca (Italy). MIAC is the international paper industry event that sees the participation of 250 international exhibitors of the paper industry sector.
The video presentation will illustrate the innovative combination of Centre Wind Assist (CWA) control of the parent reels, web tensioning system and rewinding nip control system of the OPTIMA rewinder line. Toscotec’s new technology preserves the bulk, the elongation and softness of the parent reels, in order to maintain the original tissue quality unaffected. The high operation accuracy of the OPTIMA rewinder delivers uniform reel density and an overall increase in winding performance, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the tissue production line from the tissue machine down to the rewinder.
