Suzano starts-up new tissue production line at Mucuri Mill
Suzano has started the production and sale of jumbo rolls of sanitary paper (tissue) at its mill in Mucuri, Bahia. Total estimated investment is R$540 million and considers total tissue paper production capacity of 120,000 tons/year and maximum conversion capacity of 60,000 tons/year.
The mill in Imperatriz, Maranhão is expected to start production in the fourth quarter of 2017. The ramp-up of tissue production will be gradual.
