Suzano has announced increases in its pulp prices effective from October 2026. The Brazilian producer said prices would rise by US$50 per metric tonne for customers in Europe and the Americas and by US$20 per tonne in Asia.
The adjustments cover the company’s main international markets. The Asian increase follows a US$20-per-tonne adjustment announced for September. The figures represent announced price changes; the prices ultimately paid will depend on commercial negotiations with customers.
The decision is relevant to paper and tissue producers that purchase market pulp, for which fibre is a significant production cost. It also provides a further indication of Suzano’s pricing strategy as producers and buyers assess demand and supply conditions entering the final quarter of the year.
