Sofidel, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tissue paper for hygienic and household use, has been awarded the Platinum Medal by EcoVadis, one of the most prominent international ESG rating platforms, in recognition of its commitment to sustainability.
This result represents the highest distinction within the EcoVadis rating system, placing Sofidel among the top 1% of companies with the highest scores in the global EcoVadis database.
EcoVadis is a global provider of corporate sustainability ratings, assessing over 150,000 companies worldwide. Its evaluation methodology is based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000. Company performance is measured across four key categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
