Managing its own technology, designing and manufacturing its own solutions, based on 60 years and hundreds of successful installations in the paper industry, OverMade is continuously solving the simple equation submitted by the market: to produce the highest quality with minimum production costs. The Dna of the company strongly oriented to supply the highest efficiency and highest efficacy machines – through its mantra Eco and Logic Solutions – are obtaining strong awards and appreciations. Flexibility in applied solution made the rest.
We put at your disposal our know-how in all phases of your project
The further updates on the DYNAFLO-C headbox permitted in the latest installations a considerably fiber saving and higher consistency operations with a consequent amazing reduction of production costs. In the updated design have been implemented a new flexible lip, an optimized micro-turbulence multitube section with renewed expansion/mixing chamber. Both the OVERFORMER C and OVERFORMER CR, the well-known OVER Crescent former has been consequently optimised in the forming gap to further achieve the goal: in Europe the success of a first wet end rebuilding has been immediately replicated by the customer in a second line immediately after the start-up of the first installation. The performance boost in the second installation has proudly passed through a considerable energy saving. Parallelly similar results have been obtained in a new headbox 5600 mm pond width for 2000 m/min installed on an OVER-C former, confirming that single or double width machines is not an issue for OVERMADE. The same DYNAFLOW C, supplied in the Middle East, has been able to improve tissue machine performance on an existing crescent former machine: “We were able to drastically reduce the fan pump energy consumption – reported the customer – while improving the quality of the paper also in terms of softness and, thanks to the updated fiber distribution, to drastically reduce the refining in stock preparation: most probably we achieved the specific shortest time payback for a single investment”. Collateral advantages have been further experienced: the improved CD profile together with less fines generated in the line, has permitted a global higher efficiency of the entire production line.
In a complete “turn key” tissue line supplied in North America not only the tissue machine but also the stock preparation, approach flow system and all the auxiliaries have been part of the delivery including electrification and controls of the entire tissue mill. The OverMade CRC 20 machine was capable to break the designed 2000 m/min only after three weeks from start up using 100% recycled fiber. In addition to the mentioned forming section, the line included all updated technology in energy saving supplied by POWERMADE: the partner branch in the MADE Group that complete the OverMade’s products portfolio. In particular the supply included all the steam and aerothermic systems in which the updated high efficiency hood is integrated with a recovery system capable to generate “free of costs” up to 25% of needed steam using hot fumes coming from hood. A further increase in energy recovery has been implemented with additional cycles of recovery for hall ventilation heating and for water heating: at the end the final exhaust air temperature is reduced to 50 °C – 70 °C. OverMade is now engaged in the delivery of the phase two of the Zain Paper Industry Tissue Park in Qatar – after the delivery of PM1 and PM2 – the new phase includes the installation of PM3 and PM4 tissue production lines where to continue demonstrate the achievements.
Mr. Stefano Marocchio President and CEO of the group has expressed his satisfaction about the project results by stating: “The vast knowledge present in OverMade allowed us to start from solid foundations; with loyalty and dedication we continuously improve delivering updated technological solutions, able to satisfy the widest customers’ needs. Our machinery and systems demonstrated to be OVER-performing, flexible, easy to manage and less and less “energy eaters”. Maintaining the centrality of the technical-technological skills and global know-how, we are proud about the achieved results, and as the ancient Romans said: “Ad maiora!… semper”.
